Former Playboy Playmate Says Trump Tried to Pay Her for Sex
A former Playboy model, Karen McDougal, claims that Donald Trump once tried to offer her money after they had sex. “After we had been intimate, he tried to pay me, and I actually didn’t know how to take that”, McDougal explained about her experience after their first sexual encounter. Trump actually tried to hand her money, she added. “I don’t even know how to describe the look on my face,” she said. “It must have been so sad.”
McDougal is now involved with a lawsuit with a company over the story, and decided to come out with it to air any grievances between them. The affair occurred over a decade ago and her emotional difficulties surrounding it were also a part of the decision to disclose the details.
Obviously, The White House says that Trump denies the alleged affair. Shortly before the 2016 election, The Wall Street journal published a story that claimed McDougal was paid $150,000 by American Media Inc. to run the story in a tabloid maneuver known as “catch and kill.” This contract compelled McDougal to remain silent because the Enquirer did not run the story.
On Tuesday, A spokesman for American Media Inc. stated McDougal “has been free to respond to press inquiries about her relationship with President Trump since 2016” in response to the suit. McDougal is offering to pay back the money to American Media Inc. and would prefer to have the rights to the story so she can write using her own narrative.
